I just came back from a huge city walk. We (Michaela, Will, Annie and me) did the one that was recommended in the “Lonely Planet” book. It took us about 4 hours. Brisbane is a nice city with a lot of old buildings surrounded by modern ones. They also have a nice Botanic Garden but I still like the one in Sydney better. One street reminded me of Washington D.C. and all the bridges reminded me of Düsseldorf in Germany. And Brisbane has the most bridges I’ve ever seen. From our hostel you can see at least 5 bridges in all different kind of shapes. We bought dinner at the little restaurant in our hostel. Annie and me had baked potatoes and pork and Michaela ate a burger. That was the best food I had in a while. Normally we cook a lot of pasta or rice for dinner.
